This effort frustrates me. I really appreciate and applaud the effort that went into it. But items 2 and 3, while admirable, really have no business being on this list. They are not only political agendas but are highly charged and likely to sink the entire effort. These two items need, and are worthy of, their own platforms and there own initiatives. And while designers can and should lead such efforts, these are not inherent issue regarding design.
