About 3 months ago I bought an HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a. I am
extremely happy with it.

- Wifi and hardwired ethernet
- Mac, Linux, Windows drives. The Mac drivers are great... I do tons
of scanning and it works great.
- Duplex (never buy a printer that doesn't do duplex!)
- PostScript
- Prints from HP ePrint (over the internet printing) or Googe Cloud
Print (from Chrome, etc. over the internet).
- Prints from Android and iOS

It even has "apps"! There are some built-in (coloring book picture of
the day, new york times crossword, etc) plus you can download more.
They're all great ways to waste ink, which is freaking brilliant for
HP, but I think most people on this mailing list are smart enough not
to fall for this trick.

The other day I turned it on and it connected to HP for a software
upgrade. I'm not sure if it was a full firmware upgrade or just apps.
If it is doing firmware upgrades then ... well... that's either
awesome or horrible... not sure yet. I love having the latest
firmware.
