Well, *you* say the inkjet smudges, but I have literally here in my hand, a 
printout from my inkjet, and a printout from my lawyer's laserjet, which each 
got rained on a few days ago by accident.

The lawyer's laserjet printout withstood the rain pretty well ... in places 
it's slightly faded, but no smudging.  His pen-written signature smudged (pen 
ink).

The inkjet printout of mine is indistinguishable from the original quality, 
except that the paper's wrinkled now.

If there had been any smudged printouts at the time of printing, I would 
consider that unacceptable, for either the laserjet or inkjet.

It sounds like, based on past experience, I'm unfairly assuming your HP (and 
all HP's) are junk, while for similar past experience, you're unfairly assuming 
any Inkjet must be junk.

Apparently, the world must have gotten better.  Because we're both swearing by 
our products.

"I drive Ford because Chevy is crap."   "Oh yeah, well I drive Chevy because 
Ford is crap."     ;-)
