My mother's computer was compromised. She installed what I suspect was probably malware, thinking she was installing anti-virus software, and I think she may have done business with scammers. She caught on, but it was too late.
I would like to give her the name of someone with some expertise, who can do a very thorough disinfection job, and possibly do a deep reformat and reinstall. Mom's in in Central Philadelphia. She's already cancelled her credit cards and changed her bank account and is not entering the new information online, and I urged her to report it to the police. (the PC person could possibly help sort out what info to provide, also) thanks Betsy
