+1 I've served on the LOPSA Board for the past two years (as of Saturday I'm officially relieved of my duties!) and have been a LOPSA member even longer. This is probably the best breakdown of the path forward for LOPSA that I've seen so far. I really like your justification for keeping the mailing lists and IRC open to everybody.
