Perhaps you made the same mistake that you did in asserting that sysadmins are obsolete: not looking deeply enough, and/or only seeing what you wanted to see. Fact is, the sysadmin of 1995 that you are so very proud of yourself for being better than, has moved beyond you already to become the sysadmin of 2015. Perhaps, again, you have failed to notice. Also: most assuredly, LOPSA does concentrate a lot of education on the sysadmin of 1995: because there are many, and they need help moving forward.
