The LOPSA Board appreciates everyone's comments on LOPSA and its future.
We have been struggling to answer many of the same questions. This year
is LOPSA's 10th anniversary and, as Gene and Derek both state, LOPSA has
not yet met the vision of its founders. Some of this has been due to
factors outside of our control (e.g. the legal issues) and some of it is
(perhaps) due to the rapid change in our profession as compared to other
professions. The Board does feel there is a need for LOPSA to exist, and
we feel that LOPSA needs to change to adapt the changes in our
profession. Any ideas for how you think LOPSA should change are most
appreciated. Thanks again for your support of LOPSA.
