True, but there's a big difference between a separate organization, closely
allied with Usenix with the (IIRC ~5000 person) membership of an existing group
transferred over and a seprate organization that's formed after a public blowup
(I don't want to drag out dirty laundry by going into detail) with hostility
between the organizations and a membership drive started from scratch with no
messages to the members of the existing group to tell them about the new
organization.
