My first thought is pragmatic... Is "The Guide" a separate thing from "The SABoK"? I think it is/should be, conceptually separate.
a) "SABok" is a thing. Then they can look at what you've got and think about how it could fit in the journal. (Maybe a short paper is not the right format.) I've been tied up with business (I'm on-boarding my employee #1 - milestone after five years of running the business part-time and five months full-time) but I am "motivated", as Craig said, to put a mention of SABOK in JESA; we'll squeeze this in somehow.
