You will want a SBR to drive each zone you want to define. If you don't want to buy a SBR and amp for each room, I highly recommend getting a multi-zone integrated amplifier/controller. You can use a preamp volume limiter in the SBR's audio settings to limit the maximum volume output, but I highly recommend using a multi-zone amplifier that has a basic analog volume limiter to prevent accidental speaker overload. Or purchase less-than-overkill amplifiers. Generally for in-wall speakers you don't need much more than 40-50WPC
