You will want a SBR to drive each zone you want to define.  If you don't
want to buy a SBR and amp for each room, I highly recommend getting a
multi-zone integrated amplifier/controller.  You can use a preamp
volume limiter in the SBR's audio settings to limit the maximum volume
output, but I highly recommend using a multi-zone amplifier that has a
basic analog volume limiter to prevent accidental speaker overload.  Or
purchase less-than-overkill amplifiers.  Generally for in-wall speakers
you don't need much more than 40-50WPC
