Strange, what I experience is: Server on standby, press power on the remote, "Waking up server" message, wait, wait, wait, Squeezebox is connected to Squeezecenter but in "off" state. Another power press is required to turn it on.
This assuming that the SB was off when the server went to sleep, it basically comes back the way it was when the server went into standby. I feel it should turn on anyway.
