Never heard of it before. But as already mentioned different iTunes
accounts could be the reason. 
You can change the Default-Account in the Settings-App of your iPad. On
the left there is a 'Store' menu as one of the last item.
If that does not help you need to directly contact Apple-Support.
In-App-Purchases (and the messages that popup while doing the purchase)
are completely controlled by Apple, SqueezePad is just getting a final
notification, when the purchase was successful.
