The update I sent out yesterday to Apple also includes a fix which makes/made the iPad drop the network-connection after 30min for some users.
Didn't see yet, that the progress time would not advance. On rare occassions a jump is normal (i.e. a SqueezeBox stopping to buffer). You only get the exact progress about every 5 seconds from the server (sometimes even longer delays) - one needs to fill the seconds/animations inbetween on your own. When the next status-update comes one needs to adjust to the correct value, this can lead to 'jumps' in the progress time.
