There's plenty of JavaScript doing all the server comms. Does Zimbra scroll like a native App, even in cases where it has to build it's pages itself (not the server)? Often, JS apps look like they perform well because most of the load is being handled by the server.
I haven't seen any frontend-heavy JS apps that perform well on either Android or iOS on lower-spec devices (iPhone 4 and iPad may be OK, older iPhones or slow Android devices twnd to be horrible). -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86487 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
