I think it all depends on your personal taste. Both are operated a bit differently and what is most convenient is up to you.
SqueezeCommander does have some advanced features like easier player syncing with drag and drop. Or you can download songs to SD-card. But these features are only relevant if you need them (I don't). OrangeSqueeze comes with SqueezePlayer integration and the style is based on Android guidelines. It's still very actively developed.
