I have nothing to add technically to this thread, but I would just like to let you know that I am absolutely game for a community funded Squeezebox replacement, especially if it comes in a box and is comparable in terms of audiofeatures inbetween a Classic and a Touch. If it's worth anything I can pledge let's say $ 150,- for a GEN1.
