Hi all, another lurker here, following the developments with much interest.
If I may toss another option into the ring: one thing that's always bugged me about the Squeeze system is the difficulty of streaming other computer audio through it. To listen to music I use the Squeezebox on one DAC. But if I want to listen to Youtube, or fiddle with my softsynths, I have to use a second DAC and switch the input on my amp. Seeing that the new box will have a good DAC and USB connectors, would it be possible to make it also function as a USB DAC itself, maybe even autosense which input is used?
