How does the community funded squeezebox compare to the Transporter. Obviously I know it won't have a built in screen, but how does the sound quality compare? Would I need to use an external DAC? Any idea how much it will cost approximately? I am not a DIY person but if it just requires a screwdriver then I might be able to put it together.
