Oh I just thinks somone are thinking a bit practical . But there is another approach we have another plugin that could fix the squeezebox volume to an arbitrary level . But people do also like replay gain for that other feature of making the music level match between tracks :) So actually having fixed volume and RG tags makes for a predicable volume , not bad .
