I'm not familiar enough with the system to fully understand the difference between ickstream as a backend service or as a device, but are you saying that the applet on a Touch, with for instance iPeng as a controller, wouldn't allow the Touch to access ickstream in a similar manner to how it's accessed throgh the LMS with the plugin installed?
Ickstream without cranking on the local server every time would've been really cool! But keep focusing where you need to focus and keep up the good work!
