Most of the time there is only one LMS server connected to my network and that machine has everything on board to play music through LMS. There are usually no other LMS instances on the network - the only time that happens is when I backup new music to my iMac and thats only occasionally. I have three players on the network... 1 x Boom 1 x Radio 1 x Squeezelite - connected using Squeezelite-X. This is connected to my main Hi-Fi system via a USB DAC. 2 x Touch 2 x Radio 2 x Boom 1 x Intel-NUC server/squeezelite running LMS 7.92 (from nightlies) on Windows 10 1 X Odroid-XU4 server/squeezelite running LMS 7.91 on Ubuntu 16.04 1 x iMac server running macos Hich Sierra WaveIO USB into Lavry DA-10 DAC Starfish Pre-amp : Based on NAIM NAC 72 Heavily modified NAIM NAP 250 Power-amp Behringer DEQ2496 Linn Isobarik DMS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bobertuk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30376 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112557 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
