Thanks. You could try any of the SRC-DX outputs to see if they play without the occasional skips. I think iec958:CARD=SRCDX,DEV=0 is the most likely candidate, but plughw:CARD=SRCDX,DEV=0 might also be worth a try. Please do understand that what I'm saying now is purely speculative. This is the sort of experimentation I would do if I were having this problem. It's the sort of experimentation I have done in the past, but not for precisely the same problem. But I have no experience with the equipment you're using downstream, so I could be entirely wrong. How often do the skips occur? Are they infrequent enough that you might decide to live with them, if we can't find an easy solution? If we need to keep digging, it might be helpful to know some more details about your Linux box. Your sig describes the hardware as "Intel NUC i5 Debian 16gb RAM 1TB" but doesn't tell us what version of Debian it's running. LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS. Mostly virtual players, occasionally with SB Radio, Boom or Classic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RobbH's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67008 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115888 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
