usb-power is not available as an extension that one can install. I
assume it is now part of the core OS.
The udev rule simply monitors the USB port to detect that a certain usb
device (the DAC) becomes available, right? I see in the GitHub issue
that one of the developers included that ad-hoc for you because that
part of the file system is read only?

then the next step will be to restart squeezelite using a script? is my
understanding correct?
