Actually I use a mac mini for my server both audio and video. The tablet I have max's out on RAM at I believe 256 and the HD is a 4G. I have it running wirelessly with a PCMCIA adapter. I suppose if you wanted you could have a NAS drive with huge HD for the storage and the tablet with the slimserver.
