I'm also sort of surprised that they are able to maintain the price but
if they're selling well then why drop the price? Sure the Roku
Soundbridge (I think it's the same as the Pinnacle) is priced less but
I've owned the Roku but sent it back and got the higher priced SB3.
Just because two products might have similar specs on paper doesn't
mean that they are the same - I like my SB3 much better. I was really
expecting the price to drop to $250 when they dropped the 'wired only'
version that was at that price. I also miss the $100 off two deal that
has been gone for quite a while now, I'm a sucker for deals like that.
I ended up buying 6 (3 pairs with the $100 off two deal) and giving
three away. I'm very happy with my SB3's and I don't 'need' any more
but depending on what it's succesor offers I may want to replace my
SB3's with the new model.
