The point is, he would have got an immediate response if he had called on the phone instead of ranting on here.
His order shipped the day after he placed it but he did not receive the confirmation email(s) because of a problem with the email address. I use email heavily, and most of the time it's just fine. But if I'm not getting a response from someone I'll pick up the phone. email cannot be relied on, even in this day and age.
