@Dougal - Did these gaps exist before you upgraded to SC7? What version were you running before upgrading?
I'm sure the first question that I will be asked once a bug report is submitted is "did this problem exist in the previous version?". I still have 6.5.4 on my machine, so I'm going to check this myself too.
