I received a newly purchased 770 today and after charging up was able to spend some "quality time" with it. I'm actually finding many of the things that have been listed as issues on this thread seem to just work for me, so I'd like to ask anyone out there with 770 issues to speak up. There are some bugs that I found, but aside from one minor issue nothing that seems specific to the 770 platform. notes: my 770 came with OS 3.2006-49-2, which by all accounts was the last official OS release for this platform. Before you report issues on the 770, please make sure you are running this version (Tools->Control Panel->Device->About Product). For my SqueezeCenter, I am running a current svn checkout of 7.0.1/trunk, which should not differ in any meaningful fashion from the release 7.0 1. selecting different players from the pull-down menu WORKS 2. the "sort by" pull-down under Albums does not work when in list mode, but does work when in gallery mode (toggle between these two modes with the small icon to the left of the home icon on the top menu bar). this is not a 770-specific issue http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7472 3. play and add buttons in list mode were reported as not working on the 770, but they work fine for me. 4. layout of internet radio stream details page is a mess. This is not a 770-specific issue. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7704 5. I can't successfully hit the submit button after entering a player name in player settings. This is a 770-specific issue, and works fine both on the N800 and my laptop w/firefox. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7706 So far that's what I've got. IMO, the 770 situation is much rosier than I had imagined it to be.
