So, a question for all: if Alan gets something going, what structures would be highlighted in a programming editor? How would they vary with the type of language?
An idea I would be keen to follow up is highlighting Rist/Simon Davies' concept of "focal lines". They would vary with the type of language, while in procedural languages like Pascal or C they seem to be related to function, in Prolog they are more related to data structure. I don't think there is information about the form they would take for OO programming languages though.
