OK, I will bring the ultrasonic cleaner with me tomorrow night.

It does not work properly.  None of the characteristic waves are seen when
the unit is powered on.  Might be a simple fix or it might be a waste of
time.  I suggest that the DIY/tech person who decides to fiddle with it set
a timer to no more than 15 minutes.  When the buzzer goes off, it will be
time to make the decision to toss it out or continue the repair.  Bear in
mind that a new one, same make and model, can be bought on eBay for less
than $20.
