This is not important, because neither these applications nor any others send Visual Hebrew text and label it "ISO-8859-8". However there are applications (a lot) that treat "ISO-8859-8" encoding as Logical. It would be only correct (and more in the spirit of the original ISO intention) to start to treat any encoding prefixed with "ISO-8859-8" as logical Hebrew and gradually deprecate ISO-8859-8-I as redundant.
