(I don't want to speak too much for Maptime SF, NYC, and PDX so copying some of the key people here) At NYC, I think it's about making sure people are asking questions and there's an active exchange going on. I do that by being ridiculous and asking lots of questions myself. I am sure there are many different ways this could look. Something I've learned in business development - if the "teacher" is talking more than the student then the teacher isn't selling they're telling and the student isn't going to buy.
