This is of course if the message is not spammy or contain a virus, or nasty stuff like that, where the anti-spam filter may discard the message.
Except of course for all of the people who don't look at all the crud in their spam folder. They're not likely to write about messages they don't see. If it's in the spam folder, for a whole lot of people it might as well be discarded.
