There was a time when a pointer to IETF's Note well was added in the footer. I
don't think that its omission indicates it's not any more valid. You can take

IANAL, but I don't think that the addition of subject tags and footers violates
author's copyright. Yet, adding a footer to state the right to add a footer
might look paradoxical.
