doesn't, it'll just try to make the kick sample "fit" into a number of beats... i guess they usually get pitched up (or should i say "time-compressed") for gameover, but if it's a really short sample, they'll get time-stretched out. whatever floats your boat.

You can sequence audio but most people I know would program the drums with midi using hardware or VSTs. Still, not everyone is going to want a drum kick pitched up automatically. Out of curiosity, how does Acid know the original tempo of the track a sampled drum kick comes from? --kev/entitee http://www.entitee.com/dnb on 6/7/02 6:46 AM, Trajche Petrushevski at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Yeah.. that's one thing about ACID.. If u take a drum kick from a hip hop track, and then put it into ACID.. It will be automaticly pitched up to the tempo u are working on.. I have been using ACID for drum tracks. I make the beat using one shots then I use the mix to new track to make it in to 1 rack( just for easy mixing). For example check out this track I did using the tecnique I just talked about... http://www.acidplanet.com/Lounge/Detail.asp?PID=166861 I hope this helps man. I had a really bad time with drums also. When I started using ACID my drums are dead no every time now. listen closely thanks to ACID even the reversed snares and cymbols are 100% on time... Use the "snap to" feature... I can make sweet beats now in 1/4 th the time now then before. Also Reason is great for drums too. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
