I read
that Reason is not open to VSTs or third party stuff, so I was wondering if
anyone purely used Logic and the EXS sampler and ES1 synths etc combined
with a wave editor (or Cubase and Halion for that matter).
Trust
- didn't you post recently to say that your entire setup was based around a
laptop and a MOTU firewire audio box - what software did you decide on? If it
was someone else, apologies.
What
does it sound like compared to when they used hardware and what are the
downsides?
Cheers
Dan

anyone reckon that I could easily replace the following with a very fast PC, XP and Reason
if your asking if its worth it making the leap to only software, Id recommend it. As for proces, you can get (koff koff)_demo_ software online easily on something like Kazaa, saving you a grand easy. ---
