You need a USB Radium or Oxygen keyboard (under �150) Gives you keys and assignable sliders, dials to control the midi info and they have templates for whatever program you are running to ease setup (controls relate directly to parameters on computer screen)
You can do it without one and just draw the midi notes in, but if you get a keyboard, its easier and you get better at playing keyboards into the bargain....
