a company recommended by EMU Tech support. Plus a Seagate 18GB drive from another company.

I know with some of the SIMM chips, if you stuck in a slower speed (i.e slower acccess), it wouldn't see the memory size correctly. Also had this with some of the early DIMM chips, where it would see it as a lower memory size (though it was pretty marginal i.e less than 10% difference)...
