Just a heads up, I've also been having some weird issues doing package management over tor. I can't really articulate them, because it's pretty confusing. Partially it may be because I don't understand packagemaster and how the process of redirecting to debian repos actually works. But any time something odd happens with tor it ends up being stressful, since the only reason to use tor is for security and anonymity.
