When I wrote my reply to Peter, I lost my comment about speaking not as the
chair but as a contributor.

The point I was trying to make is that the comments from Paul W as the
Expert Reviewer for the IANA registry is comment/opinion/vibe that should
be considered the most relevant in this discussion.
