Um, I think perhaps you've misunderstood. I don't want them to, and in fact they couldn't do so anyway if the domain name was transferred away from them.


My point was that they're claiming the presence of that additional service allows them to reject a transfer, which is not the case. The ICANN policy explicitly says "registrars can only reject a transfer in one of the following cases", and needless to say, "the registrant forgot to turn off GoDaddy's private registration service before starting a transfer" is not one of them.
