Hello,

I think _that is_ the problem.

We also get the same error registering an .EU domain name,
using the API and also in the RWI:

Billing failure Not enough money for this transaction

But on our account _is_ enough money:
Available Account Balance: $1518.87

So it cannot has to do something with the available account
balance. It looks like Tucows has not enough money at EURid,
or there is a bug in the system.

So Tucows folks, please tell us, is it a bug or is it a
failure of your account monitoring at EURid?

In the last 6 years as we stay with tucows the domain
maintenance was always reliable. But in the last time,
espacially the .EU registration seems not to be working very
well. There were a lot of problems at the landrush period,
it seemed so from our point, that the tucows queue has been
submitted at 14:00 (CET) (=08:00 local time canada).

There were some other registrars also with a huge amount of
domain names (not so much as tucows had, but also a few
thousands), they finished their queues at 11:17 (CET). I'm
sure we had good positions with a handful of domain names in
the tucows queue, but they were submitted very late. Not a
good start. Of course its not easy to run all this systems
and software and everything is very complex, but now we can
see there is not enough money on an account? That should not
happen. Something is going wrong. We do not know what, but
it does. Please get back your service level as it was in the
past. I dont want to assume something wrong, but the facts
entice to do so.

Best regards,

Bernd Hilmar
