Hi,

I agree - a great question.

When I first saw the picture of Keith Richard strumming a funky looking acoustic on
the inside picture section of "High Tide and Green Grass," I knew I wanted to ditch my
trumpet and get a guitar. This was soon followed by my hearing 'Projections' by The
Blues Project which, even today, remains my absolute, all-time favorite album.

Those two influences have sustained me over 30 years of playing the guitar and are
responsible for the acquisition of my acoustic Martin and my electric Stratocaster.
They also prompted me to get together with some other faculty members at my high
school to form a group called [and I know this sounds SOOOO dorky] 'Twisted Teachers.'
We play once a year at our high school talent show and we specialize primarily in
three chord songs. And, we compensate for our very profound lack of talent by playing
exceptionally loud. It is so way cool....
