Nope I'm sorry I've tried various combinations similar to the above, without
success. Neither example you provide is actually a valid crossdev command
btw.
The idea of stage building is a possibility but I don't have the time to
play at present. Looking at the change history I see activity on x86_64,
powerpc, mips, i686, i386, chris, avr32, armeb, arm (oabi & eabi), armv4 but
nothing on m68k so I guess no ones maintaining that part.
At this point I'd fall back to compiling the stanges by hand which sound like
what you've done already.
