Speak of the devil. I just received notice (as I'm sure everyone else did as well) that there is a huge CVS conversion occuring tomorrow. When that happens there will be changes to both the way CVS connects to the repository (doamin name is changed) and a change from ViewCVS (the web-based thingy) to a newer mechanism that is already used for SVN (ViewCV).
To put it succinctly, whether we switch to SVN or not, there *will* be changes for all developers in order to use CVS. Therefore, I think we ought to just bite the bullet and switch to SVN. There will be a learning curve, but changes are changes and we have to do it anyway. May as well get it over with. Regards, Shawn K.
