The dqsd.net server is doing a periodic cvs update of the dqsd and
dqsdweb projects. There exists a file "version.xml" on the dqsd.net
server which I assume is what is queried to see if a new version is
available.. I dont think cvs is used for this.. but I could be wrong...
I dont know what is required to get SVN running io the servers.. SVN
originated in the UNIX world so I would assume it wont take much to get
it installed. If something needs to be installed on the system level,
David Bau will probably have to request it from Pair Networks.. I will
research it a bit as I will need to do the same for my box..

the repository for an XML-formatted response.
I really don't think anyone will regret moving to Subversion even if it
requires some script changes.
