Hi Kerry, > Is there a way to have Merriam Webster be the default > dictionary - it has free pronunciation.
You can control DQSD just about any way you could want. To override any existing search with another you just create an alias that overwrites the existing mapping. Add this to localaliases.txt, on it's own line: dic|mwd %s This will change the behavior of "dic" to search the Merriam Webster instead. HOWEVER, you can also shorten that a bit by using the default shorter search alias for MW of ":". Try this in DQSD (note the preceeding colon): :whatever Regards, Shawn K.
