I made the mistake many years ago of spraying lubricating tuner cleaner on
the relays of a KWM-2, the result was fireworks.
To clean Jones plugs I use alcohol or non lubricating contact cleaner and a
toothbrush. Obviously no amount of cleaning will make up for weak contacts.
