Thank you to all who responded to my listing for the "musty" R-4C. The odor from the receiver is definitely a "musty, damp basement (or other storage area)" type of smell. I have numerous other used pieces of RL Drake equipment and none has ever smelled like this R-4C. I presume the radio must have been in storage for some period of time before it was sold to me. 73, Bob K9JU
