Yes, I would love to see the CyberBlade on my laptop at least do 2D right

Depends on the hardware, but yes, I think that might get a few interested

The problem is the lack of documentation.  In the case of all of the three 
mentioned chip vendors, they never really gave out documentation and in the 
case of at least one of the vendors, they're no longer a going concern for 
display chips.  Does Xfree86, Inc. happen to have all this info in hand?

I'd be interested- but I'm leery of dealing under NDA.  I've been burned 
before in the past by hardware vendors insisting on NDAs only to not come 
forward with the goods when they're signed by all involved parties.  That's 
not to say I won't help under those conditions- I just would prefer all in 
the open operation.

If that.  You'd be amazed at how little help you get from many of these 
outfits, even WITH an NDA.
